PT. RMK Group Indonesia, a diversified energy-related business holding company, established in 1987 starting from a chain component, sprocket wheels and conveyor supplier for mining and manufacturing companies. Not until 2009, the company initiated a new venture in energy-related industry by developing among others coal port service, coal logistic services, mining services, mining infrastructure development services, coal trading arm, marine transportation services and acquiring Mining Business Permit (IUP).

    RMK (PT. Rantai Mulia Kencana) was established.

  • 2009

    RMKE was established.

  • 2014

    RMKE’s Port at Keramasan, Palembang started operating.

  • 2016

    RMKE - Train Unloading Station CY I started operating.

  • 2017

    RMKO was established.

  • 2018

    RMKE Train Unloading Station CY II started operating.

  • 2019

    • RMKE - Port loading conveyor belt line 3 started operating.
    • RMKN was established.

  • 2021

    • RMKE - Commenced operations of 3rd unloading facility (CY3A) at Simpang station.
    • RMKE - Commenced operations Upgraded Line 2 barge loading to have double lanes and stacker conveyor.
    • RMKE - Held Initial Public Offering.
    • RMKO - Construction of hauling road 39 Km
    • TBBE - Acquired by RMKE

  • 2022

    • TBBE RMKN - Coal mine began operating and tradin
    • RMUK RMKO - Commenced operation of Gunung Megang Loading Facility which is equipped with a Train Loading System (TLS).
    • RMKE - Commenced operations of 4th unloading facility (CY3B) at Simpang station.
    • RMRK was established.
    • CMK was established.

  • 2023

    RMKO - Held Initial Public Offering.

Coal Mining

RMK Group has 1 IUP (Mining Business Permit) OP (Production Operation) located in Muara Enim, South Sumatra.

Mining Infrastructure

Construction of basic mining infrastructure such as offices, mess, workshops, hauling roads, bridges and loading yards of train.

Mining Services

Safe and efficient mining services. Supported by a team that has more than 15 years of experience in mining and has a large capacity fleet or heavy equipment.

Multi Commodity Logistics

The company has 1 port in South Sumatra, 1 port in Jambi, 1 coal train unloading station in Palembang, South Sumatra and 1 coal train loading station in Gunung Megang, South Sumatra.

Shipment

Currently the company operates 2 sets of tugboats and barges and will continue to add more in the future to support the business as a whole.

Coal Trading

Coal trading is the business line with the largest revenue contributor, the company's coal sales market is domestic and export.
